Who we are
JRM InfraHub of Companies (JRM InfraHub) operates this website, selling building materials and hardware, and acting as land promoters in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. Our registered address is Varthagan Nagar, Main Street, Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu – 623526, India.
For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, JRM InfraHub is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below.
What we collect, and why
We collect only what the service needs to function. Specifically:
| Information | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, phone number | When you create an account or send an enquiry | To identify you and to reply to you |
| Password (stored only as a bcrypt hash — never the password itself) | Account creation | To let you sign in securely |
| Company or firm name, address, city, state, pincode | Optional, at registration or in your profile | To quote correctly and arrange delivery |
| Enquiry subject and message | When you contact us or enquire about a listing | To answer your enquiry |
| Materials list, quantities, delivery pincode, project notes | When you request a quotation | To price your requirement |
| Property details, survey and plot numbers, approval and RERA numbers | If you list land with us | To verify and market the property |
| Ownership documents you upload (title deed, patta, EC, layout plans) | If you list land with us | To verify ownership before we publish a listing |
| IP address and browser/device string | Each time you sign in | Security: to detect suspicious access and protect your account |
| Sign-in attempts, including failed ones | Each sign-in attempt | To block brute-force attacks on your account |
| Record of actions taken on your account by our staff | When staff act on your records | Accountability and dispute resolution |
We do not collect payment card details, government identity numbers, biometric data, or location data, and we do not track you across other websites.
Your ownership documents
If you list land with us, documents you upload are stored in private storage. They are not published, not indexed by search engines, and are not reachable by URL. They can be opened only by you and by authorised JRM staff who verify listings, and every access is recorded with who opened the document and when.
We use these documents solely to verify that a property may lawfully be listed and sold.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers this website runs on:
| Provider | Purpose | What reaches them |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Website hosting, anonymous traffic analytics and private file storage | Request metadata, IP address, uploaded files |
| Zoho Mail | Sending transactional email such as enquiry confirmations and password resets | Your email address and the message content |
| Google Maps | Embedded maps on the contact and property pages | Your IP address, if you load a page containing a map |
| Google Fonts | Website typography | Your IP address when fonts are fetched |
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep account and enquiry records for as long as your account exists and while we may still need them for a business or legal reason — property transactions in India can be questioned years afterwards, so records relating to a listing or sale are kept accordingly.
We want to be straightforward here: this website does not currently delete records automatically after a fixed period. If you ask us to delete your data we will do so, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it;
- correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it;
- withdraw consent you previously gave — although we may then be unable to provide the service;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.
You can change most of your own details at any time from your account page. For anything else, contact our Grievance Officer below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
How we protect your data
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored or transmitted in readable form. Sign-in sessions use HTTP-only cookies and are stored only as a hash, so a database copy alone cannot be used to impersonate you. Access to staff functions is restricted by role and checked on our servers, not just hidden in the interface. Repeated failed sign-in attempts are throttled.
No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Blocking it will prevent you from using your account. Traffic analytics are collected in aggregate and are not used to identify you personally.
Children
This website is intended for adults conducting property and hardware business. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
